A luxury rural farm house in the Limpopo province.
Situated on a flat, open site within the Springbokvlakte of Limpopo, this house has been sensitively placed in its environment. The natural context was a key driver in the project’s conceptual phase, emphasizing horizontality over verticality. Large openings were carved into the horizontal volume to seamlessly integrate the expansive natural landscape with the interior. An intricate floating pergola provides additional shade during the harsh summer months while allowing the winter sun to bathe the interior in warmth”.
