Groblersdal Golf Club

When the Groblersdal Golf Club approached us for a clubhouse upgrade, the brief was simple: create a space that feels as good at sunrise as it does at sundowner.

Exposed steel columns carry a bold, low-pitched roof that floats above the terrace, sheltering without enclosing. A polished concrete floor extends seamlessly from inside to out, grounding the space with a material that ages well in the Limpopo climate. At the centre, a wood-burning fireplace anchors the terrace as the natural social heart of the space.

Timber picnic tables and a raised deck section keep the atmosphere relaxed and unpretentious, while cable railing ensures the fairway views remain completely unobstructed.

Steel, timber, concrete, plaster. Nothing that won’t hold up. Modern in its lines, comfortable in its bones.
